This galaxy painting is more than likely the very first milky way painting ever made with 3-dimension, as chunks of dried acrylic paint show it's wonders of usefulness in this far out scene of gaseous stars and fragmented particle matter.

The dry-brushing nebula is of pearl colors, and the meteor chunks are of the finest dense glitter that sparkles.

A poured clear acrylic glues the smaller particles on, as well as provides dimension when you look at the stars. You see the star shadows underneath because the speckled stars are a layer above the substrate, resting on top of the clear poured acrylic fluid.

This is another of Ruth Collis' inventions and took her a whole year of studying galaxies to try her hand at it in 3D. This whole piece really sparkles and shows it's wonder.

This could to appeal to lovers of space and astronomy. The dried chunks of paint have been especially aged that gives it the chunky look, and would take a long time of several years to dry paint like that on purpose.

The painting comes with the protective frame and is already professionally wired for hanging.
