Certificate of Authenticity

A certificate given with a fine art piece is generally meant to state the authenticity of the piece is truly made by the artist stated and provides information about the painting's value. It can also increase the painting's value having this certificate. Ruth Collis will try to provide a Certificate on items of $500 in value & above.

For you to know the difference of any imitation certificate, Ruth Collis goes an extra step to include photos of herself actually painting the piece in process, if at all possible, so you know you have the real authentic original painting. The painting name, medium, and size are also written on the original painting. Information about the integrity of structure, painting process, & what materials were used, are also included.

Many states require a Certificate of Authenticity for the sale of fine art. Below is an example of what you would get in ordering a fine art Original from Ruth Collis at stated price. Price sold is listed on the Certificate so you may see how your piece has grown in value over time.
